The FIRST LEGO League Qualifier will be held on November 9 at Central High School from 7:30am - 4:30pm.

FIRST LEGO League Qualifier Schedule for the Day:

·        6:35-7:25 – Volunteer Check-in. If you have not completed a CONSENT & RELEASE form online during team registration, BRING YOUR SIGNED CONSENT AND RELEASE FORMS: English/Spanish, one for every participant.

·        7:30-8:00 – Coach/Team check-in the school lobby, settle into your pits. BRING YOUR SIGNED CONSENT & RELEASE Forms, one for EVERY PARTICIPANT, COACH, or TEAM MEMBER!

·        7:00-7:30 – Judge’s Meeting, Referee Meeting.

·        8:30 – All Judging Begins/Practice Rounds.

·        11:10 – Judging Ends.

·        11:15 – Opening Ceremony.

·        11:45 – Working Lunch – All Judges.

·        12:00 – Official Competition Rounds Begin, (Gymnasium).

·        12:45 – All Rubrics Complete/Deliberation in Individual Judging Areas.

·        1:30 – Judges Visit Teams-Optional Robot Competition Matches (Please review the Code of Conduct expectations below.).

·        2:30 – Final Deliberation Begin (Judges).

·        3:20 – End of Competition, tear-down Competition Tables, Clean up pits, etc.

·        3:50 – Parade of Teams & “High Fives”.

·        4:05 – Award Script Due/Awards Ceremony.

        4:30 – End of Event. Please help cleaning up the building

• All visitors and guests are welcome.
• Admission to the tournament is FREE! Please wear comfortable clothing-especially to the pits and teamwork judging. Families and guests are welcome in the activity and presentation judging rooms, but PLEASE RESPECT THE JUDGING PROCESS and keep your numbers and distraction to the teams at a minimum!
